Meet the Owner
Meet the Team
Gene Ivester - Studio owner and operater. Gene is a professional photographer who shoots commercial photograpy, weddings, events, glamor, business executives, and real estate photography. From his high tech industry background he brings technological advancements to Studio on Main including digital services, advance printing technology, digital camera knowledge, and web site and on-line printing capabilities.
Shawn-Paul Luchin – Originally from Napa, Shawn-Paul anchors the Studio on Main’s team of photographic artists. He has been a practicing artist in photography since 1993. He owned his own photography business in Indiana for nine years. He joined the Studio on Main team in May 2006. Shawn brings indepth knowledge of photography to our Portrait Team. Shawn shoots Real Estate - Architecural images, Events, Family and Weddings and is our top Commercial photographer.
Kelly P. Farley- Studio on Main's Digital Specialist, high skilled in Adobe Photoshop and dedicated to enhancing and preserving your memories through photo restoration. If you have a precious picture that has become faded over time, creased or torn, Kelly can return that photo to it's former glory and in many cases even improve the quality of the original image. You'll find Kelly assisting Alan part-time in the framing department. When he is not working at Alan's, Kelly can be found drawing, painting or crafting pottery at his home studio in Pope Valley where he is also and artist be trade.
Jennifer Skabo – After having so many of her own photographs printed at Alan's Studio on Main, Jennifer convinced Gene that she had the artistic eye and people skills they needed to compliment their team. So he hired her! Jennifer is a self-taught photographic artist who received additional professional training upon joining Studio on Main in April 2007. As a newcomer to St. Helena from Australia, Jennifer also brings cross-cultural experience to Studio on Main. While residing here in Napa Valley Jennifer aspires to further develop her photography talent—specializing in children's portraits, weddings and outdoor photography.
